Portraiture
A portrait is defined as a work of art that records the likeness of humans or animals that are alive or have been alive.
Our meeting on this evening will be a combination of a presentation about portraiture and a "camera night" like session where we'll do demonstrations of a few different lighting techniques (i.e. speedlights, continous lighting, and strobes) and give everyone an opportunity to take some portraits of a professional model for their own purposes.
7:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - Socializing/Networking
8:00 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. - SCC announcements and discussion about portaiture and lighting
8:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. - Taking portaits w/ a professional model and demonstration of lighting
