Time: 11:00 am meet in the parking LOT D. 

Sandy Hook has a collection of historic buildings, a light house, wetlands, a river, a bay, Atlantic Ocean beaches and former military grounds. 

There are plenty of migratory birds present at this time of the year.  A long lens above 400 mm is best to capture them.  A tripod is highly recommended.

We will have exclusive access to the interior of the recently restored Life Saving Station located between lots D & E for this outing.  This has been arranged with the Sandy Hook Foundation who are the caretakers of this building.  This will be a timed event with a time slot for the interior photography.

There will be a scavenger hunt for photos of objects found inside the station.

The plan is to share images with the Sandy Hook Foundation for their marketing purposes.  Details will be provided the day of the outing.

Bert will explain, in simple terms, how AI works, what you can do with AI and how you can combine AI with the tools and skills we already have as photographers.

He will present perspectives you may not have yet have thought of and will show you some of the more useful AI options available to photographers today. Gain valuable insights into the diverse applications of AI, including the groundbreaking AI features in Photoshop, alongside a range of other cutting-edge AI tools. We'll look at how these tools can be combined to open up a whole new world of creativity.

This is the last day to submit your photos for the SCC EXPO Print Competition.  If you missed the opportunity to drop off your photos at one of our drop off locations (see below), you can still enter them by dropping them off at the Sparta Ambulance Building on October 29 from 7 pm to 8 pm.
