Place: Vass Farmstead, Millbrook Village and Blairstown Historic District 97 Stillwater Road (CR521), Hardwick, NJ
Date: Saturday, November 2, 2024 rain or shine
Time: 10:00 am meet in the Vass Farmstead parking area.
This property is part of a 2-day tour of historic properties found in Warren County. We will start here and travel to Millbrook Village after roughly 1 hour on site. The Vass farmstead is across the highway from White Lake and has a historic farmhouse and a red barn on the property.
Millbrook Village is a collection of historic structures and workshops from the 1800’s. Many of the buildings will be open and interpreters will be there too. Plan is to be on site for about 1 hour before moving on to the final stop.
Blairstown Historic District will be the final stop. A restored mill is the highlight of this stop along with other historic buildings.
Suggested gear is a wide angle and/or prime lens to capture the interior of these historic buildings.
Dress warm and be prepared for uneven surfaces typically found in historic structures.
