SCC Field Trip: Duke Farms

Field Trip:  Duke Farms

When: April 12, 2014 (weather permitting)
Meeting Place: Sparta Police Station
Time: Leaving at 8 a.m. sharp! - please arrive a little earlier than 8 a.m. to arrange ride sharing.

Price: Free

Duke Farms opens at 8:30am.  We want to arrive no later than 9 a.m. as they close the parking lots as soon as they are filled.  The official portion of the club trip will end at 12:30 p.m. but you are welcome to stay on your own depending on your transportation arrangements.  However, it will no longer be an official field trip.

What is there:
Orchid greenhouse
Old foundation of a mansion that was not built
Garden sculpture
Tram (runs on the 1/2 hour)
Ponds
Walking Paths
