Critique: Cityscapes
The theme for this critique is cityscapes. Cityscapes are the urban (or suburban) equivalent of a landscape. A great cityscape photo captures the essence of the city it depicts while showcasing the beauty of the architecture and landmarks that are included in the scene.
Each member can enter a total of 2 images for critique. (2 digital images, or 2 print images, or 1 digital image and 1 print image)

Monday, February 25, 2013 at midnight. *Please put "city" in the subject line without the quotes. Please also indicate in the body of the message, if the image should be in the Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced class. All entries with no specification will automatically be placed in the Intermediate class.
If you wish to have prints critiqued, please bring them to the meeting on the night of the critique.
Digital image specifications for competitions and critiques:
- Jpg format
- rectangular with 768 pixels on the longest side
- sRGB or RGB color space
- The file name should be your image title e.g. “empire state building.jpg” (no quotes)
- There must be no visible watermarkings on the image or information in the title/filename
that can identify the artist.
- *The subject line of the email MUST be specified as above in the relevant email. THIS IS IMPORTANT. The subject line identifies the event to the system that automatically
processes the entry. The wrong subject line may mean your entry is not included in the event.
Print Specifications for competitions and critiques:
- Prints should not be smaller than 10” by 7”.
- They should be matted but not framed with the maximum size of the mat not exceeding 16” by 20”.
- A label should be affixed to the upper left corner of the reverse of the mat, showing the
name of the artist, the title of the image and the category entered.
- There must be no markings on the image or the front of the mat that can identify the artist.
