Flash for Nature Photographers - Greg Basco

Greg’s talk will cover the use of flash in Nature Photography.  He will take you through the flash techniques that he uses for bird, wildlife, macro and even landscape photography.  You will learn the basics of flash, when to use manual and TTL flash, and most importantly, how to make flash look natural.

While many nature photographers think that flash is a crutch for less experienced photographers, Greg will show you how learning to shoot with flash will help you become a better student of natural light.

Gregory Basco is a professional nature photographer based in Costa Rica. Greg worked in conservation before turning to photography full-time in 2006. His images have been awarded in the Veolia Wildlife Photographer of the Year and Nature's Best Windland Smith Rice competitions and have appeared in numerous magazines and books around the world.
