Support The NJ State Fair Sussex County Farm And Horse Show

The New Jersey State Fair Sussex County Farm and Horse Show is canceled this year.  The Fair has asked the Fair Photography Committee to support the Fair by submitting photos for a virtual photography exhibit which will be shown on the Fair’s web page.  The photo exhibit is part of a virtual overall fair experience planned by the Fair. 

We are asking the members of the three Sussex County Camera Clubs: Sparta Camera Club, Sussex County Photographers, and the Vernon Camera Club, to participate in this virtual photography show. If you would like to participate, you can submit one photo to the Fair’s Photography committee’s email at   scfairphoto@gmail.com before midnight Saturday, July 11, 2020.  You must be a member of one of the three camera clubs to submit a photo.

The photo must comply with the following requirements:

• The submitted photo may be on any topic, but it must be suitable for all viewers.  
• The photo must be a JPEG.
• It should be no larger than 1050 pixels on the longest side and 72 pixels resolution. 
• It should be in the sRGB  color space for best results.
• The photo may show your name or brand.
• Photos of children under 18 are not permitted.
• You need to have a model release for any other recognizable person in your photo.     

Note:  By submitting a photo, you are granting the Fair and the Fair Photography Committee permission to place the material on the Fair's web page.  

 A jury of five members from the three camera clubs will review and select the photos for the Fair.  Please note, not all photos entered will be selected for the website.  Photos will be selected based on quality of the photo, subject matter, and consistency with the exhibit overall.  The number of photos that will be posted on the website will be limited to ensure maximum exposure for those selected.  The judge’s decisions as to which photos are selected are final.
