Doug Bates  is a retired graphic designer and art director in book and magazine publishing. Took an interest in photography in art school and have carried a camera with me ever since.

I’ll be showing my pictures of people taken on the streets, parks, and other locations and discussing the various approaches to capturing people in their natural environment with mostly local and candid photos.
