SCC Regular Club Meeting: Competition "Water"

  • Wednesday, February 25, 2015
  • 7:30 PM
  • Sparta Ambulance Building, 14 Sparta Avenue, Sparta, NJ
Tonight's competition theme is "water" . . .

Water covers 71% of the Earth's surface and it is vital to all life forms.  There are many different uses of water throughout the world societies including being used for energy, in religious ceremonies, for health purposes, etc.

Water is a colorless, transparent, odorless, tasteless, liquid that forms in lakes, seas, rivers, oceans and rain.  Depending on the ambient temperature it can take on several different forms including ice, gas, steam, snow, dew, fog, and clouds.

So what constitutes an acceptable image of a compound that is one of the four basic elements?

Please submit your entries where it is clear that the primary subject of the image is water in liquid or solid form.  (i.e. droplets, rain, oceans, rivers, lakes, waterfalls, dew, boiling or ice and snow) to the http://www.photocontestpro.com site, if digital, or bring prints with you on the night of the meeting.  Let's limit the scope of the contest to those forms.  Let's leave the gas, steam, fog, clouds, etc for another competiton theme.
