This is the last day to submit your photos for the SCC EXPO Print Competition.  If you missed the opportunity to drop off your photos at one of our drop off locations (see below), you can still enter them by dropping them off at the Sparta Ambulance Building on October 29 from 7 pm to 8 pm.

The SCC Print Competition will be held at 7:30 pm at the Sparta Ambulance Building in Sparta.  Three judges will review the photo entries into the SCC EXPO Competition and score them.  Awards include First, Second, Third and Honorable Mention Ribbons.  Students and Beginners are awarded Equal Merits and Honorable Mentions.  There will also be Best in Class Awards for the Student and Beginners and Best in Show for all other categories.  Best in Class/Show will be awarded a free membership in Sparta Camera Club.  

This is a print competition in which a lightbox is used.  The event will be broadcast to SCC Members and to non members who entered the competition.  

We wish all the entrants good luck in this competition.  

Please join us for the SCC 40th EXPO Photography Print Exhibition at the Sparta Ambulance Squad Building on Saturday and Sunday, November 15th and 16th.  The Exhibit follows the Print Competition held on November 5th.  All prints submitted will be exhibited at the Exhibition which will be open for two days, Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, November 15th, 12 to 7:00 PM.  The exhibit opens at noon.  From 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm there will be an artist's reception in which food and drink will be served.   Best in Show and Best in Class Awards are given at the reception.    

This year, we are celebrating our 40 year history as a club.  Photos and old documents will be available at the Exhibit to review.  

Sunday, November 16th, 12 to 5 PM.  The second day of the exhibit.  The People's Choice award will be given at 4 pm.  

Members are selling photos and equipment at this exhibit.  Please stop by and see if there is anything you need or want.
